Urgent Relief for
Displaced HUD
Technical Assistance Providers

Recent executive actions have led to a devastating shift in housing and homelessness services across the country. On February 26th, eight organizations lost all of their Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding for technical assistance. This decision has displaced a large number of experienced and passionate professionals—many of whom have dedicated their lives to supporting communities in ending homelessness.

These are not just jobs lost. Many of the affected individuals are independent contractors with no access to unemployment benefits or organizational support. Some came to this work through their own lived experience with homelessness and housing instability, making this sudden loss of income even more financially and emotionally devastating.

We are rallying support for these technical assistance providers who are now facing urgent financial hardship. Your donation can make an immediate impact—helping cover basic needs like housing, food and medical care for people who have always shown up for others.
